A Tradition of Community Involvement
Raised in Naperville, the Belgio family has strong ties to the Naperville community. Community involvement has always been, and will always be, a core value of Belgio’s Catering. Since the inception of Belgio’s Catering, Tim and Tom have actively sought opportunities to aid those in need.
Tim and Tom have spent many early mornings passing out free food to local area 5K charity runners, and can always been seen making sure operations are running well at annual fundraising festivals.
Whether it is helping Hesed House cook their turkeys on Thanksgiving Day, or providing their truck and assisting the YMCA staff in moving furniture for the annual Mayor’s breakfast, Belgio’s Catering can always be counted on to help the community.
Additional Involvement
Belgio’s Catering is involved with over 60 local organizations. Involvement often includes full or partial food donations, cash donations, staff donations or equipment donations. We are proud to partner with Consolidated Unit School District 203, North Central College, Naperville Noon Lions Club, Naperville Humane Society, Edward Hospital Foundation and The Naperville Park District. Tim is a proud charter member of Naperville Sunrise Rotary.

Notable Community Events
Naperville Judd Kendell VFW Post 3873
The Belgio brothers’ love of Naperville traditions led them to partner with the local VFW to keep the 38-year Fish Fry tradition alive, Belgio’s Catering prepares a buffet dinner for over 350 local area residents every Friday during the Lenten season. The partnership with the VFW has existed since 2001 and Belgio’s Catering is honored to split all proceeds 50/50 with the VFW Post. Tim and Tom particularly enjoy the partnership because it often enables the family to mingle with past neighbors, teachers and coaches and to talk about traditions with local area residents.
Naperville Ribfest
As all Naperville residents do, Tim and Tom have a great love for Naperville’s Ribfest. As a major sponsor of the event, Belgio’s Catering has donated meals to volunteer and staff members over the 4/5 day event. In addition, Belgio’s has donated meal side dishes, dessert, equipment and staff to the high profile Sponsor Skyboxes. It’s a great opportunity to support the Naperville Exchange Club and their work to end child abuse and domestic violence.
YMCA
For many years, Tim Belgio has served on the Board of the Naperville YMCA. Belgio’s Catering has been a loyal supporter of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign program which ensures that all kids in our community have a chance to participate in YMCA programs, regardless of their ability to pay. Belgio’s Catering maintains an annual sponsorship through donations of cash, food, beverages, equipment and staffing resources at the various Y fundraising events held throughout the city. It is rewarding to know that many children are afforded fee assistance through our efforts.
